Eintracht Frankfurt's U21s also clearly won their second home game in the Hessen League.

The team coached by Kristjan Glibo won 5-0 (2-0) against FC Gießen, who had been relegated to the regional league, as they did against Viktoria Griesheim.

In front of a crowd of 1,400 spectators, which was unusually high for the Hessen League, two penalties in the early stages were decisive for Eintracht's clear success.

After the hand penalty converted by central defender Marc Wachs (6th), Nino Cassaniti had to retire injured in the 17th minute.

Gianluca Schäfer, who came on for him, only had a four-minute short appearance when he took the second penalty against ex-Eintracht professional Michael Fink and then lay injured.

After Wachs made it 2-0 again (20th), Schäfer's game was over again and Zubayr Amiri came on.

Guest coach Daniyel Cimen found clear words: “You can give the first penalty.

The second, on the other hand, wasn't one, because the player hits the ground after making contact with his upper body and falls.

It's unfortunate that he got injured in the process.” With the lead behind them, Eintracht had the game under control early on.

Otherwise, the encounter suffered from many interruptions due to injured players.

When Gießen switched to a 3-5-2 at the break, this measure fizzled out after 15 seconds.

The Brazilian Divaio Bobson scored a pass from Maximilian Brauburger, who was playing as left-back, to make it 3-0 (46th).

“After conceding early goals, it was difficult against a team that had a lot of speed.

After the 3-0 it got wild, we didn't make the right decisions and so we only had half chances," Cimen explained.

So it was fitting that Eintracht had to concede goals number four and five in the closing stages through Emir Sejdovic (80') and an own goal by Adrian Kireski (90').

Eintracht Frankfurt's coach looks confident

On the other hand, Eintracht coach Kristjan Glibo was satisfied: “We were able to control the game very well and were calm on the ball. We left a lot behind in the last third.

That's why we have to improve there.” Due to two tough weeks of training, Glibo gave his protégés two days off before the early game at Viktoria Griesheim on Wednesday.
