Result in contradiction to performance

District league: The SpVgg Kammerberg is equal to opponent Feldmoching at 0:3 on many levels, but does not achieve anything countable.

– The SpVgg Kammerberg has gotten better and better in the district league north.

In the game against leaders SpVgg Feldmoching, the positive trend got a dent.

Despite the 3-0 home defeat, coach Matthias Koston couldn't blame his team: "The result doesn't reflect the performance of either team at all."

If he had one point of criticism at all, it was that the preparation for the Feldmoching standard situations was unsuccessful.

"We knew how and in which areas they shoot their standards," said Koston.

Nevertheless, Noah Maslaton was able to insert relatively easily after a headed corner kick.

After that, the Kammerbergers were in the game against the leaders.

The technically experienced guests did not dominate, but tried to create a majority situation on the wing.

The Koston team foiled the plan.

The little things made the difference.

While the Kammerbergers missed two top chances before the break, Feldmoching struck coldly: Osman Öztürk converted a penalty caused by keeper Markus Eisgruber (24th) and shortly before the half-time break Triumf Gudaci scored the third goal after a counterattack.

"But it had nothing to do with performance.

I couldn't blame the boys, but I wanted to give a few players match practice," explained the Kammerberg coach.

As a result, his team came close to scoring a goal several times – but it didn't come.

"We had five big chances after the break and two before that.

It just has to rattle," says Koston.

But nothing changed in the score, the clear 0:3 defeat remained, which was not so clear.

“The result is a brutal setback, but the performance was absolutely fine.

And you mustn't forget that Feldmoching is not a casual customer," said the Kammerberg coach.

After all, he was able to rest injured players by changing four at half-time and giving minutes to people like new signing Maxi Richter.

"It was nice to see that there was no break despite the changes," says Koston, for whom it is now a matter of "drawing the right conclusions from the negative result".
