FCL player coach Maxi Hintermaier has to change his team again.

Langengeisling – FC Langengeisling faces a trend-setting game this Saturday when TSV Siegdorf makes a guest appearance at the Geislinger Sportpark at 2 p.m.

The FCL got out of step after two defeats in a row.

The guests, on the other hand, have not yet got going and have only won one of five games, but against Waldperlach.

With a win, TSV could draw level with Geislingen on points.

"Siegsdorfer are a direct competitor for staying up in the league, so a win is needed," demands FCL player coach Maxi Hintermaier.

The Geislingen team didn't manage to do that last season, when it was 2-2 and 0-1.

"I'm not good at assessing them," he admits.

"Although they lost Jonas Neuhofer, the top scorer in the district league last season - he moved to Ruhpolding - they still score a lot of goals," says Hintermaier and adds: "But they also get a lot." After five games, TSV has a goal difference from 12:14, the Geislingers are at 6:9.

The FCL player coach observed Siegsdorf during the 2:3 defeat in Moosinning.

"They were 0:3 behind, but fought back.

An indication that they are not giving up.” And he praises the people of Siegsdorf:

As far as his team is concerned, there are changes in the squad again: "There's always something different." Goalkeeper Michael Hierl is back, as are Michael Faltlhauser and Ömer Altinisik.

Hintermaier has to do without vacationers Maurice Steck and red-banned Paul Bucher.

Defender Lucas Seeholzer is likely to be out longer.

He contracted Lyme disease after a tick bite.

"He has been feeling weak for a while, now an examination has revealed that he has Lyme disease," regrets the FCL player coach.

"He's on antibiotics and he's out for at least two weeks."

And Hintermaier has another concern: the autumn festival.

He took his fellows to task about this.

"There hasn't been an autumn festival for three years, so one day or the other doesn't matter anymore," he says.

Tip: 3: 2 for Langgeisling
