Bayern line-up today against Gladbach: Nagelsmann struggles with top players: "Not easy for me"

Julian Nagelsmann has almost all the players available for the top game against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Inevitably, stars have to go to the bench.

Who is Nagelsmann putting up?

Munich – "I'll be spoiled for choice tomorrow," said Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann before the top game against Borussia Mönchengladbach (Saturday, 6:30 p.m.).

It's often a cliché, but for the FC Bayern coach, the word "torment" isn't particularly exaggerated at the moment.

Many have failed in the task of moderating such a star ensemble.

Nagelsmann has almost the entire squad available.

Only Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Leon Goretzka are not yet ready for action.

"With the exception of the two, we have all the options tomorrow," said Nagelsmann at the press conference before the game.

Bayern line-up against Gladbach: Musiala "not 100 percent fit"

There is still a small question mark over Jamal Musiala, who "is not yet 100 percent fit," as Nagelsmann explained.

Alphonso Davies is fit again and will also play, as the 35-year-old revealed.

That's equivalent to a spot on the bench for one of the three central defenders Dayot Upamecano, Matthijs de Ligt and Lucas Hernandez.

"Two of the three will play," Nagelsmann smiled.

The luxury problem continues on the offensive: there is actually no player whose performance has dropped significantly.

Here Nagelsmann even has to put two stars on the bench.

If Musiala is not 100% fit by Saturday, it will probably hit the youngster.

Sadio Mané should have his place in the storm, the same is probably true for Thomas Müller.

Nagelsmann's gut feeling will ultimately decide between Leroy Sané, Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry.

It is unlikely that Ajax newcomers Noussair Mazraoui and Ryan Gravenberch will get a chance in the starting XI.

"We want to keep the mood positive and show the players through rotation: You can play well even when you're outside.

But we also want to bring in stability.

It's not easy for me," Nagelsmann argues.
