Munich - Will Bayern get their fourth win in the fourth game of the season?

After the best start to the season in Bundesliga history with nine points and a goal difference of 15:1, a tough opponent awaits in Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The third in the table is still undefeated, the foals have scored seven points so far.

There will probably not be a furious shooting festival like last weekend at VfL Bochum (0: 7) for Bayern.

The 109th game between the two traditional clubs will take place on Saturday evening.

Bayern and Gladbach have met each other 22 times since the 2011/12 season, winning nine times and drawing four times.

This makes Borussia the club that has been able to wrest the most points from FC Bayern since then - the feared opponent, so to speak.

Both teams could continue their series.

The record champions have been unbeaten in eight home games, and the Gladbachers have remained undefeated in the last five away games.

Julian Nagelsmann was confident before the game, the Bayern coach has almost his entire squad available.

Only Leon Goretzka and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting are missing, otherwise the coach has plenty to draw from.

"With the exception of the two, we have every opportunity tomorrow," said the 35-year-old at the pre-game press conference.

Nevertheless, he did not show his starting line-up for tonight.

It looks similar for the guests, only Stefan Lainer is missing, and Ramy Bensebaini wobbled before the game.

Otherwise, coach Daniel Farke can fall back on all his players.

"We're going to Munich with respect, but without fear and with the conviction that we'll be competitive if we play well in all areas," said Farke.

It will be seen in the evening whether his team will live up to the coach's expectations.
