The second period was marked by a quick awakening of RC Lens which got three big chances as soon as they returned from the locker room with shots deflected in extremis by Arthur Theate then Joe Rodon (47th).

Strengthened by their domination, the Lensois opened the scoring thanks to a big curling shot from their captain Seko Fofana after a number of leg crossings (66th).

A few minutes later, Lois Openda perfectly concluded a deep service from Florian Sotoca (69th) to put the Sang et Or away.

Gaetan Laborde's goal in added time (90 + 1st) will not shake the confidence and control of RC Lens.

In the standings, Lens temporarily takes the lead in the championship before the meeting in Paris, while Bruno Genesio's players have to settle for a meager 11th place.
