"It just annoys me": Sascha Mölders is angry about a decision that went against his opponent.

He didn't think the traffic light card for Frank Schmöller was in order.

Gilching - It's the 73rd minute of the game between TSV 1860 Munich II and TSV Landsberg: The guests get a free kick on the sidelines and Junglöwen coach Frank Schmöller doesn't want to believe it.

Again, one didn't like his swearing at all: referee Kevin Rösch.

The referee pulls out the yellow card.

And Schmöller throws his hands over his head.

Instead, the second yellow card comes right after it and then, consequently, the red box.

Schmöller has to go to the stands.

Yellow and Yellow-Red in one situation.

Under the high whistles of the numerous Löwen fans, it was almost lost that not everyone on the pitch agreed with Schmöller's sending off.

TSV 1860 II against TSV Landsberg: Schmöller receives a dismissal - Mölders speaks directly to the referee

Sascha Mölders, ex-1860-Kappo and now Landsberg's player-coach, immediately approached Referee Rösch.

Visibly upset, he spoke to the referee.

He didn't want to leave the yellow-red for Schmöller.

The cult striker emphasized this after the game: “It just annoys me when a referee just keeps pulling out cards for the coach.

That didn't exist a few years ago.

I just find that when a coach is out and there are emotions in there, you can say something.

And you don't have to show yellow, yellow-red right away.” Mölders complains that the reaction was exaggerated.

But in general I can't get used to the cards for officials anyway.

"Basically, I have to say that in my opinion these cards are for coaches, for the referees they are just an alibi," complains Mölders, "it has nothing to do with football.

So if a coach stands outside for 90 minutes and doesn't say a word, that's not football."

"What did you give him yellow and yellow-red for?": Mölders doesn't understand Schmöller's dismissal

What exactly did the ex-lion tell the referee?

"I said to the referee: What did you give him yellow and yellow-red for now?

We play football”, Mölders does not hide it.

Meanwhile, Frank Schmöller is certainly no stranger to referees.

"I've already gotten five or six tickets," he says with a smile.

He was still surprised about the dismissal on Friday: "Sascha and I know it differently from before.

It can get emotional during the game, but after that there is a handshake and everything is fine.”

Mölders puts it a little differently: "I've known Frank for a long time and everyone knows what he's like.

But as a coach, you can still say something.”

1860: Schmöller appeased after the traffic light card - "had a very good conversation with the referee"

"I had a very good conversation with the referee after the game," Schmöller reports, "he dismissed me for a derogatory gesture, as he saw it.

I don't know if it was really needed, but he decides.

And after our conversation everything will be fine.”

19 years lie between the young lion coach and Sascha Mölders.

Still, they seem to look alike in some ways.

And Schmöller didn't miss the fact that Mölders supported him directly: "I thanked Sascha straight after the game." (moe)
