The taunting of Ramzi Spuri - a prophecy from Bethel that came true | Israel Today

2022-08-29T07:52:10.096Z

No behavior justifies violence, not even an unnecessary "celebration" of a BS striker in front of our faces • The electrifying atmosphere and the great ability in the first half were not enough, and all the negative things came true • Also: a sincere apology to all the children who experienced the defeat - don't worry, the good days will arrive

To the credit of my friend Gilboa, who told me in my ear as soon as Ramsey Spuri entered the field: "Wait and see, he will score the third and come with provocation to tease the crowd, they will go wild on him and in addition to the loss we will also receive a penalty."

Analytical depth understanding, surgical analysis with the scalpel of expert brain surgeons, and a unique vet prediction ability are required to issue such a prediction in a 2:0 deficit towards the 70th minute.

We'll get to that later, but we'll go back a little: the atmosphere in the colony was electrifying.

About 10,000 Beitar fans in Sakhonia in August, in the week when the heat wave preceded and attacked the holy city of Petach Tikva, even more so on the eve of Rosh Chodesh Elul.

The crowd cheered and pushed madly even before the players stepped on the grass and singing "We believe, we believe" shook the stands already in the first minutes of the game.

After twenty minutes of completely equal football, and even in a half where it was hard to tell who was playing in Europe these days and who was almost relegated to League A two weeks ago, we conceded a goal that does not respect the status.

A particularly light free kick is pushed in by our young goalkeeper Nathaniel Deloya.

It was sad twice - both because the goal was disconnected from the game, and also because every fan understands that Delvia, at least at this stage, is not up to par, but does not want to go against the young goalkeeper who grew up as a fan in the eastern stands, and lower his confidence.

There were a few who booed him, but they responded by singing "Dalvia - Delavia!"

, on the weight of "Nausea! Nausea!"

of the nineties.

We went into the half optimistic, despite the understanding that our defensive play is a prelude to a heart attack every time the ball is in the Beitar area.

In the second half - all the negative things that could happen did materialize, and as always in Beitar - there is no middle ground. Up or down - always hardcore. Always to the end and after. Precisely after a good save by Deloya, Miren Tal, son of former player Idan Tal, who was Ray of light and showed a beauty of sparks in the debut game in the lineup, muscle tension and we absorb an unnecessary goal, again from a stationary ball.

From here the business started to deteriorate and from an almost completely equal game we saw a shocking disintegration in a few minutes.

In these minutes, the significant event of the evening takes place - minute after minute, the Gilboa prophecy is coming true before our eyes in a flash: shortly after the 70th minute and after Ramsey Spuri entered the field, a penalty was whistled for an unnecessary hand touch by one of our players in the box.

It is important to note: none of the Beitar fans teased Ramsey Spori when he warmed up before going on the field.

No one cursed him when he entered the field.

No one came out against Spori in particular even when he came to kick the penalty or when he scored.

The game was completely lethargic.

Then, right after he scored - Ramsey Spurry decided:

- Not going to party with his crowd.

- Not to be happy with his teammates.

- Not returning to the center of the field after the goal, as is expected of a national team player who has been on the grass in Israel for several good years.

Spori chose, from the beginning and on purpose, when he was well aware of the situation on the field - and as mentioned, although there was no provocation, to run towards the Beitar crowd, which was experiencing a three-goal deficit, running amok and with excessive, demonstrative and agitated celebrations and "celebrating" the goal inside of the Beitari stand.

And the audience's response was indeed not long in coming.

Although these were few out of nearly 10,000 fans who cheered and supported, and still - there is no justification for violence, there is no justification for throwing objects onto the field.

The entire Beitari audience, and in particular those who fall for the same provocation every time and overheat, must know how to deal with events of this type much more wisely.

After this event and the eruption (of a small part) of the crowd, the sporting side of the evening ended and the fourth and fifth goals were already a direct continuation of the magnificent breakup.

In just two rounds, Beitar fans have already scored ten goals.

Now you just have to make a variety of changes (preferably one hour before) in every part of the field so that the goals start going into the right goal as well.

This was not how this evening was supposed to end.

And this is also an opportunity to ask forgiveness from the linebacker Shanir Weintraub, who was slightly hit in the head by an object thrown by a stupid fan.

The absolute majority of the audience strongly opposes this behavior.

It is important to remember this and to take it into account in order not to collectively harm the Beitari audience who behaved in an exemplary manner, even last night.

Next week - a fight for 6 points against Ness Ziona, and then the Jerusalem derby, hopefully it will take place in Teddy and not Radius.

For me, the picture of the evening: a lovely girl with a light blue Beitarit shirt and a blue skirt who came with her father to see her lover on the field - apologies from you, and sweet Michael who came with his father Ahikam to the field from Afula and all the children who prepared for the event last night and ended up with such a defeat.

Beloved, we too experienced such losses as children - we fell, we did not break.

We will be back in a big way.

Good days will come.

I am convinced of that.

were we wrong

We will fix it!
