Oktoberfest is about to start, time for footballers in traditional costume: FC Bayern's lederhosen photo shoot took place again.
But not all Bayern players raised their glasses.
Munich – Every year again: FC Bayern's lederhosen photo shoot is a more reliable date than the Wiesn itself. Even in the years without the Munich folk festival, the Bayern stars posed in traditional costume.
This year, some of the players can look forward to their first Oktoberfest visit.
The newcomers Sadio Mané, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Ryan Gravenberch and Mathys Tel were at the marketing event on the Nockherberg in Munich for the first time and slipped into leather pants, brogues and jackets.
Not a completely new experience for Mané: After his station at RB Salzburg, he already knows what traditional costume is.

"I enjoy wearing lederhosen because I'm generally very interested in different cultures and their traditions," said the Senegalese, who after just a few weeks is well on the way to becoming the new favorite of the Munich public.
Of course there was also a group photo with the obligatory wheat beer.

Mané, like Ajax newcomer Noussair Mazraoui, did without the wheat beer toast.
Both are devout Muslims, Islam forbids the consumption of alcohol.
In the
tz
interview, Mazraoui announced before the season that he wanted to pray with Mané.
FC Bayern: Musiala is slowly getting used to traditional costumes - "It was uncomfortable at first"
Both made a good impression in leather pants, shirt, brogues and jacket.
For Jamal Musiala, the costume is slowly becoming a habit after initially being alienated.
"It was uncomfortable at first, but it's slowly getting better," joked the 19-year-old.
For Matthijs de Ligt it is still a bit unusual.
"It's a little strange, but okay.
But I feel quite good,” said the Dutchman.
He has never been to the Wiesn.
"This season will be the first time."
It is not the first time that the wheat beer shooting has given rise to discussion.
Last year, a mistake made by Manuel Neuer caught the eye of many.
