He is the inventor of this combat sport which is all the rage.
At least, it was he who codified the main rules.
He is the co-creator of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), which in less than 30 years has become the biggest MMA league in the world and one of the main sports federations on the planet.
He founded the UFC in 1993 with the filmmaker director of "Conan the Barbarian", John Milius.
