Manuel Ekanji, the defender of Dortmund, signed a five-year contract with Manchester City for 17.5 million euros.
The 27-year-old defender from Switzerland played 26 games in the German league last season, and will strengthen the center of Pep Guardiola's defense.
Lakanji also made 39 appearances in the national uniform of the Swiss national team.
