After the work is done, Hasan Salihamidzic looks back on the transfer summer.
He surprises with a statement about Harry Kane.
Munich - The transfer phase is over!
Deadline Day has once again kept its promises and unearthed some unexpected transfers (you can find an overview here).
While other managers frantically occupied the phone lines, FC Bayern's sporting director was able to sit back and relax: Hasan Salihamidzic bagged his transfers early this summer.
In the last few days of the transfer window, there was no longer any need for Munich to take action.
With Matthijs de Ligt and Sadio Mané, two stars were signed many weeks ago, other players like Ryan Gravenberch were signed even earlier.
After the transfer summer: Salihamidzic can't remember any refusals to FC Bayern
In an interview with Sky, Salihamidzic talks about the transfer summer.
This year there has often been talk of players moving to FC Bayern of their own volition - but have the Munich team actually been turned down?
"I can't remember any," Brazzo replies with all coolness to this question.

Not even Erling Haaland, who moved to Manchester City and apparently has no problems scoring goals in the Premier League either (nine goals in the first five games).
"We were in talks, but it became clear that it couldn't work for either side," reveals Salihamidzic.
Harry Kane to Bayern?

There was also contact with Cristiano Ronaldo's agent.
"Yes, we spoke.
I often talk to Jorge Mendes," says Brazzo and explains: "It wasn't an option for us because we did other things." The Bosnian also talks about a third top striker who was associated with Bayern: Harry Kane.

Will the topic come up again next summer?
"It's too early to talk about it," Brazzo dismisses, without closing the back door.
He indirectly conveys that the name Kane could definitely play a role at FC Bayern in the future.
An expert recently gave a forecast.
Salihamidzic to Konrad Laimer: "It didn't really work out"
The name Konrad Laimer too?
"I can't say that yet.
We were interested, but it didn't really work out.
That's the most honest thing I can say."
For the moment, however, the sports director sees his team perfectly positioned.
"There's already fire in there.
Some training games are better than Bundesliga games.” A statement that will not go down particularly well with the other Bundesliga clubs.
