What is not possible when the biathlon career is over.
Erik Lesser is not in preparation and can even go to the Erding Autumn Festival.
Erding – Erik Lesser announced the end of his career last winter sports season.
The biathlete ended his active career on the cross-country ski run in the Olympic year, but he will remain with the fans.
Lesser now comments as an expert on the biathlon races on public broadcasting.
And it seems that most fans even like it.
The new expert made his debut at the end of August at the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Ruhpolding.
In the long term, however, Lesser wants to become a coach.

And if Lesser is already in Upper Bavaria, then he will stay there.
Because he likes it so much?
Possibly.
But the Thuringian also took part in a sponsorship appointment in Erding.
Before that, however, he used the free time for a bike ride through the Erdinger area and showed his Instagram fans plenty of impressions.
In summery temperatures he pedaled through the beautiful landscape and then made a collage, which was probably on August 30th.

For the local brewery, the world champion was then allowed to put on lederhosen and pose in front of the tent.
He also photographed his entrance to the autumn festival.
Lesser was and is known for not mincing his words.
Before the Olympic Games in Beijing, he was critical, which made him a popular athlete and will not hurt his career as an expert.
He also doesn't avoid controversial topics. On August 31, he filmed the dancing crowd in the marquee, who roared along to the controversial song "Layla".
