Guingamp-Rodez, the match which was to oppose this Friday the 7th and the 18th in the French Ligue 2 championship, will not take place.
The Aveyron club has requested the postponement of this meeting due to an air transport problem.
The plane with which the Sang et Or was to travel to the Côtes d'Armor suffered a mechanical problem.
It was around 9:30 a.m. when the players boarded the plane usually chartered for their away trips.
Fifteen minutes later, a burning smell became more pressing in the aircraft and prompted the crew to descend as quickly as possible.
The pilot then turned around at Brive-la-Gaillarde and landed without incident at 10:07.
According to La Dépêche, coach Laurent Peyrelade and a large part of his footballers refused to board another plane, still in shock.
No details were given on the origin of this smell.

The rescheduling of this match is now submitted to the Competitions Commission, as indicated by the two teams.
In general, the postponed matches must be replayed the next day at 3 p.m., another time slot allocated to Ligue 2. In view of the "exceptional circumstances" and the distance to be covered, the Rodez club should ask to play this match later .
