FC Moosinning is again up against a promoted team.

This Saturday, the home game against SK Srbija Munich kicks off at 1 p.m.

Moosinning – In Finsing (2:2), at home against Ostermünchen (0:0) and most recently at 1:0 in Peterskirchen, the FCM already had three promoted opponents.

However, Srbija cannot be measured by the normal standards of a newcomer.

In 2005/06, the Munich team played a season in the Landesliga.

The coach at the time was Neboja Stojmenovic.

The 59-year-old former state and Bavarian league player (Türkgücü, Starnberg) came back last season and after nine seasons in the district league, he was promoted to champions - with a 20-point lead.

"A single-digit place in the table," stated the sporting director Sreten Gadzic as the goal before the season.

But he made no secret of the fact that the state league is aspired to in the long term.

If they also had Valentino Gavric, their 34-goal man last season, in their ranks, they would be able to push through this season.

Quite a few in the squad bring state or Bavarian league experience from other clubs.

And then there's newcomer Savio Nserenko.

Once hailed as a super talent at TSV 1860 Munich, he played in Italy (Brescia, Florence and Bologna) and in the Premiere League with West Ham United before going down to the B-Class via Unterhaching.

"He's our fittest," his trainer praised him.

For Moosinning, this game against a team that arrives with the best players will be a mammoth task.

"We expect a very strong opponent in terms of play and we have to repeat at least the performance of Peterskirchen in terms of fighting," FCM coach Christoph Ball is convinced.

"Only what we missed in terms of goal chances, that was to despair."

Personally, it doesn't get much better.

Captain Johannes Volkmar, Fabian Ulitzka and Christoph Kollmannsberger are back, but there are question marks behind Yannik Saßmann, Stefan Haas and Georg Ball.

Mäx Lechner, Florian Jakob, Peter Werndl and David Kamm are not an option anyway.

FCM goalkeeping coach Aaron Siegl will again stand in for the sick Lukas Rieder in the box.

FCM squad

Siegl, D. Auerweck;

Volkmar, Haumann, Lanzinger, Ulitzka, Maxi Lechner, A. Auerweck, Eschbaumer, Stauf, Reiser, T. Auerweck, Calis, Treffler, Kollmannsberger, Saßmann (?), G. Ball (?), Haas (?)
