For Thiago Motta, this will be his third experience as head coach.
The Italian-Brazilian had first cut his teeth coaching the PSG U19s before taking charge of the Genoa team for a disappointing record of 2 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses and only two and a half months in job.
The sequel proved more successful on the bench of La Spezia, bottom club, which he managed to maintain in Serie A last season.
In France, PSG fans keep a very positive image of Thiago Motta despite his few physical glitches.
The former transalpine international (30 caps) ended his career with the Parisian club, where he had become an essential cog in the midfield, alongside Blaise Matuidi and Marco Verratti.
