The city of Dimona is on the tennis map, after a joint announcement by the municipality of Dimona, the municipal sports authority, the municipal economic society and the tennis and education centers in Israel on the establishment of a new tennis and education center in the southern city.
The project is expected to start after the holidays and be completed in the first half of 2023.
It will include renewing the existing complex in the city, which includes four tennis courts, at the same time expanding it by building two more tennis courts.
To all of these will be added an investment in the environment of the complex, so that it will meet the most advanced standards for the enjoyment of the players.
The total investment in the project will be approximately $1,000,000, of which $700,000 will come from donations from the friends of the tennis and education centers in Israel in the US and $300,000 from municipal budgets.
According to Benny Biton, the mayor of Dimona, "The development of a new tennis and education center is good news for the city's children and all its residents. Together with a professional and experienced team, which has accumulated many achievements in the promotion of tennis in Israel for decades, Dimona has great potential to promote champions in tennis as well, in a way that combines nurturing Young leadership and community empowerment".

Fortunately, we found in Dimona a community that strives to cultivate the next champions in tennis and in life.
"Like the thousands of children in the tennis and education centers throughout the country, in the new center in Dimona the children will have an empowering sporting and social experience, which is based on the unique values of the game of tennis.
