Star striker Erling Haaland has apparently had an exit clause contractually guaranteed at Manchester City – albeit at an extremely high level.
According to information from the British media, the 22-year-old can leave the English football champions from summer 2024 for the fixed transfer fee of 200 million euros.
First "The Athletic" had reported about it.
However, the clause only applies to clubs outside of England.
It means it's all but impossible for other Premier League clubs to sign the Norwegian in the near future.
Haaland switched from Borussia Dortmund to Man City for 75 million euros in the summer and got off to a great start there.
The striker has scored 15 goals in nine Premier League games for City.
In three Champions League games, he scored five times for coach Pep Guardiola's team.
