The adventure ends there for Michel Der Zakarian.
Stade Brestois co-president Gérard Le Saint has confirmed what various media have been announcing in recent days.

It was starting to be complicated when you see the results
,” admitted Le Saint at the microphone of France Bleu Breizh Izel this Tuesday morning.
Brest held on comfortably with an 11th place in Ligue 1 last season.
But the Finistère club is currently last in the standings after 10 days, and has not won for seven matches.

I think there needs to be osmosis between the different parts of the club.

,” Le Saint added.

Der Zakarian had been appointed to Brest in the summer of 2021. Aged 59, he also passed through Nantes, Clermont, Reims and Montpellier.

" he said on Sunday, after a home defeat against Lorient (1-2).

Except surprise, it is Bruno Grougi who should, at least temporarily, take over from Der Zakarian.
Former attacking midfielder, Grougi (39) played in Brest between 2009 and 2018. He has been coaching the Brest reserve team for a year.
The Breton club will try to raise their heads with a trip to Nantes this Sunday (3 p.m.).
