A big disappointment for Peter Palachik who was eliminated today (Tuesday) in his first fight in the World Championship, which is being held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
The 30-year-old Palacik, ranked 5th in the world, competing in the weight category up to 100 kg, automatically advanced to the second round because of his high ranking, where he was awaited by Mongolian Gunchigsoren Takhoyag, a bronze medalist from this year's Asian Championships.

The European champion from two years ago, and the silver medalist from the Paris Grand Slam at the beginning of the year, suffered twice Vasari and was quickly eliminated from the championship.
