Summary: Maccabi Tel Aviv - Hapoel Tel Aviv 0:3 (Sport1)

The seventh cycle in the Premier League undoubtedly stirred up a face for Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The Yellows defeated Hapoel Tel Aviv in the derby 0:3 after a blitz at the end, and took advantage of the losses of Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Jerusalem to climb to the top of the table.

On Saturday (20:15, Sport4) the Yellows will hope to continue the momentum from the end of the derby when they host a difficult game at Bnei Sakhnin, who are ranked fifth and come after two consecutive victories.

As a reminder, Maccabi Tel Aviv failed to beat Sakhnin in all four meetings between the teams last season and even lost twice in Doha, so in addition to wanting to keep first place, they will also want to break the streak against Haim Silves' team.

About 2,000 Maccabi Tel Aviv fans came today to an open training held by the team at Bloomfield Stadium.

All the players of the team took part in training, with Yonatan Cohen conducting personal training separately from the other players.

Currently, it seems that the midfielder who came from Pisa, will not be included in the squad for the game against Bnei Sakhnin on Saturday in Doha, but the final decision will be made close to the game.

At the end of the training, competitions of free kicks, penalties and kicks to the crossbar were held, in which Avi Rikan and Maor Kandil stood out.

This time it will end in victory?

Eyal Golsa was happy to see the fans and the children who came to practice and told about the feelings after the derby: "The atmosphere is good and we have to maintain it, we have a very difficult game on Saturday. We know that Sakhnin is a very good team, the games there are always very difficult. We prepare accordingly and come and get the job done."

The midfielder was asked about the meaning of the result in the derby in light of the fact that in the previous game the Yellows surrendered to Maccabi Haifa: "We know the importance of the derby regardless of the game in Haifa, but it was very important to bring back the joy to the crowd."

Regarding the depth and competition in the squad, the midfielder said: "The competition is not easy, but whoever is on the squad chose to be here. Of course there are players who are not satisfied and a little sad, but that is natural, those who are in good shape will play. Will the depth have an effect in the championship fight against Maccabi Haifa? We know what the effect is of Europe, but I don't think it should have any effect. In the end it will be determined by who will be the best until the end."
