The management of the basketball league and the sports channel today (Thursday) signed a new agreement for four years with an option for a fifth season.
The top league in Israeli basketball will continue to be broadcast on the sports channel, including the main game.
The new agreement will include, among other things, windows of more convenient hours in order to make it easier for the fans who come to the halls and, of course, also for those watching from home.
In addition, each game will be accompanied by pre-game and post-game broadcasts, which will analyze the teams before and after the game.
The broadcasts will also be upgraded, with two games in each cycle now filmed by 6 cameras, and the rest of the games in the same cycle will be filmed by at least 3 cameras.
Also, most of the games will also be broadcast on the sports channel's radio platform so that fans can listen to the games even if they are unable to be present or watch the game.
The chairman of the league's management, Shmuel Frankel, responded:
"We are happy to continue the joint path with the Sports Channel. In the new agreement, we were able to reach new agreements for the sake of the league and, of course, for the loyal fans of Israeli basketball. We already saw fascinating games in the first round with halls full of audiences and I am sure that more We are expecting a continuation of a season no less interesting than what we have seen so far."
