SC Freiburg seems to be doing everything right now.
In the Bundesliga, the Breisgauers are in second place, in the Europa League they made it into the next round on Thursday with a 4-0 (1-0) win in Nantes.
In the parallel Group G game, Qarabag Agdam of Azerbaijan and Olympiacos Piraeus drew 0-0.
After four wins from four games, Freiburg now have twelve points and can no longer be relegated from one of the top two places.
It is followed by Qarabag Agdam (7), Nantes (3) and Piraeus (1).
Should Freiburg also win the group, the Bundesliga side will bypass the intermediate round and move straight into the round of 16.
Freiburg started the game sleepy, Nantes should have taken the lead.
But Moussa Sissoko headed the ball to the crossbar after a corner (12'). A short time later Sébastien Corchia hit the post with a nice shot (20').
Freiburg then took the lead out of nowhere.
Nantes-Kepper Alban Lafont slapped a cross forward, Lukas Kübler rushed up and pocketed the ball to make it 1-0 (26 ').
After that, Freiburg was better in the game and kept playing forward in a considered manner from the outside.
But it was rarely necessary, even if coach Christian Streich's team had significantly more possession of the ball.
Gregoritsch makes the decision
The best Freiburg opportunity was missed by Nicolas Höfler, who appeared free in front of the goal but failed at the keeper.
Substitute Michael Gregoritsch made it better in the 71st minute.
Christian Günter crossed into the middle, Woo-Yeong Jeong put his head down to Gregoritsch, who took the ball cleanly and made it 2-0.

The German U21 international Kevin Schade increased shortly before the end (82'), before Jeong scored the final score (88').
