Munich - A strong first half and a rather negligent second half was enough for FC Bayern to reach the round of 16 in the Champions League.
With the 4-2 victory in Pilsen, Julian Nagelsmann's team has twelve points and can only slip to second place in the table.
In the parallel game in Group C, FC Barcelona and Inter Milan drew 3:3 in a spectacular game - Robert Lewandowski saved his team from premature elimination with a brace.
But even with the draw, the Catalans only have minimal chances of progressing.
Kahn supports Nagelsmann: Bayern boss has "no doubts at all" about the coach
As part of the game against the Czechs, both CEO Oliver Kahn and coach Julian Nagelsmann commented in detail on the coaching discussion that had broken out after the four games without a win in the Bundesliga.
“There is absolutely no doubt about his work.
I take note of these discussions.
It's not about age, it's about quality.
Julian has unbelievable quality,” Kahn said before the game, more clearly than ever behind the head coach.
"We're going through this bumpy phase now."

Nagelsmann spoke out after the game. “In general, I would like to emphasize that there is no match between Oli Kahn, Hasan Salihamdzic, Herbert Hainer and me.
We are all very close and exchange ideas a lot and have an extremely good relationship.”
The coach explained the general unrest as follows: “Everyone has a lot of interviews.
Then both use a word that was never meant to be malicious.
I've never taken it that badly.
You just have to see what effect it has."
