Leon Goretzka was criticized after Bayern Munich's 2-2 draw in Dortmund.
Now he has responded to the snappy comments after his BVB congratulations.
Dortmund – The emotional 2:2 between Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern Munich was a few days ago.
In both camps, however, it is still a topic of conversation: Leon Goretzka caused a stir among FCB fans with an Instagram post - now he has even spoken publicly again, reports RUHR24.

The last sentence drove many a Bayern fan upset, one or the other user let off steam in the comment column.
"Congratulations BVB?" Was another of the more harmless reactions.

Goretzka, who is currently one of the most conspicuous Bavarians, counterattacked at the press conference before the Champions League game at Viktoria Pilsen (Wednesday, October 12, 9 p.m.).
When asked about the topic, the national player initially revealed that he had only marginally noticed the debate about his BVB congratulations.
He would not have read the individual comments, but he had a clear indication for the fans when it came to attitude: "I think in the 90 minutes that I was on the pitch, nobody can accuse me of not doing everything to win have done and also lived a healthy rivalry.

It's clear what Goretzka is alluding to: Before moving to Bayern, the midfielder had played for Dortmund's archrival Schalke 04.
The 27-year-old comes from Bochum, went through the entire VfL youth team before his time at Schalke and also celebrated his professional debut there.
You really can't blame Goretzka for exchanging too many pleasantries with black and yellow in his career so far.

Despite all the rivalry and all the emotions, according to Goretzka, after the final whistle you should "keep up your sportsmanship".
