Di Maria underwent tests on Thursday "which revealed a minor injury to the hamstring of his right thigh", the Italian club said in a statement on Thursday, adding that it will take "approximately 20 days for full recovery of the player".
Replaced in the 23rd minute during the surprise defeat of Juve in Israel, he should therefore miss the last two group matches of the Champions League, in Lisbon against Benfica (October 25) and therefore against Paris Saint-Germain ( November 2).
This last match being played at the end of his recovery period, there is still hope if the healing process goes well.
He should also miss the next three Serie A games, including the derby against Torino this weekend, then the duels against Empoli and Lecce.
