Suspended Manchester United player and England international Mason Greenwood has been arrested again and is facing charges of attempted rape.
Greater Manchester Police arrested the 21-year-old on alleged bail violations, Janet Potter, the assistant chief prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service North West, confirmed in a statement on Saturday.
According to the announcement, Greenwood's case will be heard in a Manchester court from Monday.
The striker was arrested in January on suspicion of attempted rape and assault after his girlfriend posted incriminating pictures and videos on Instagram.
Since then he has been out on bail.
Banned from playing since January
Manchester United suspended Greenwood in January shortly after the allegations against him became public.
Since then he has not been allowed to play or train with the record English champions.
