After the defeat against Memmingen, VfB coach Matthias Strohmaier is served.
One thing is particularly frustrating for the Hallberger coach at the moment.
Hallbergmoos
– The 1:3 (0:2) against FC Memmingen was once again more than just a defeat for VfB Hallbergmoos.
The club, which escaped relegation with a small miracle in the previous season, is currently practically unsuitable for the Bavarian league.
This statement was also heavy on the stomach of player-coach Matthias Strohmaier, who is disappointed in his team and ashamed of the spectators.
"A few things are getting on my nerves right now," said Strohmaier, who saw smiling faces in the dressing room after the defeat and a certain indifference that you had just lost again.
After just 14 minutes, all plans were wasted
The coach knew that the only reason the result was somewhat close was that Memmingen didn't really take VfB seriously.
Scoring chances only came late in the game when the guest let the game run out.
Symptomatic for Strohmaier was a scene when a shot by David Küttner would have gone in if his own man (Monty Mendama) hadn't clarified just before the line.
The coach was incredibly annoyed about the two quick goals up to the 14th minute: "I think a lot before a game, and then it fails because of the basic virtues." The opposing striker was allowed to head the first goal in the six-yard box, and at 0: 2's defensive behavior didn't have much to do with Bayernliga.
"We wait until the ball falls out of the air somewhere," complained Strohmaier.
"It's also cheeky towards the assistant coach"
It really annoys the coach that defeats are sometimes easily accepted this year - by players who are overwhelmed in the Bayernliga but dream of professional football.
"It's also cheeky towards assistant coach Florian Brachtel, who puts a lot of effort into analyzing opponents."
The coach is currently frustrated with the image his team is giving.
"It can't be my claim to just look at whether the Rosenheim team behind us also lost." The current lack of chances makes the race to catch up with a successful relegation last season an even greater miracle.
