Coach Ariel Beit HaLhami at Hapoel Eilat's season opening event and commented on the team's bad start to the season: "I want you to know that we are doing everything to find the right players, we will not bring players just to say we did"

Hapoel Eilat held a season opening event yesterday (Wednesday), with the participation of the team's players, the professional staff, the club's management and sponsors.

The press conference was attended by coach Ariel Beit Halami, captain Nathanel Artzi and chairman Tal Pinchas, who introduced the new CEO, Itzik Cohen.

"It's not obvious, and I say it every year, Eilat is a very special place and I want to say a big thank you to our sponsors and the municipality - without you this team cannot exist," said Ariel Beit HaLhami.

"The club and the city are doing everything to ensure that there is the best environment for the players and residents. As the head of the adult professional system, I am doing everything so that you have pride in our team. I am in my third season here, it is a great honor for me to be here and I am proud to be your coach."

Regarding the start of the season, the coach said: "We started the season with a bit of a limp, we went through an intense summer, we changed players and in the end we made an excellent team, which suffered a bit of a difficult blow due to injuries. I want you to know that we are doing everything to find the right players, we will not bring in players just to say that we brought," the coach added, "it hurts us at the beginning of the season, but in the end it's just the beginning of the road."
