14 fights, ten wins, a laceration - AC Penzberg celebrates

There was great joy: The wrestlers of AC Penzberg defeated SC Anger II in their home hall with 38:10.

It worked on the third try: AC Penzberg achieved their first win of the season in the state league.

It was also a painful affair for Clemens Seidler.

Penzberg – At least for AC Penzberg, the saying “All good things come in threes” still applies.

In the third fight of the season, the wrestlers in the Landesliga Süd achieved their first success.

He also clearly failed with 38:10 against SC Anger II.

The hosts won ten of 14 fights.

Clemens Seidler showed particular dedication.

He sustained a laceration in his first duel with Benedikt Argstatter in the 130-kilo class (freestyle), but continued the fight, which was at a high level.

It went over the full distance of 2 x 3 minutes, in the end the Penzberger only had to give up two points.

Both athletes met again in free style in the second part of the fight evening.

In the 98-kilo class, Seidler once again stood up to the 2017 German runner-up.

The Penzberger lost only very narrowly (3:4), which gave the guests only one point.

Seidler and Argstatter had previously had dealings with each other: Among other things, they fought for freestyle gold (86 kilos) at the Bavarian championship in Burgebrach in Upper Franconia in 2018 - at the time Argstatter won on points (5: 2).

Ferdinand Streicher (57 kilos) made a debut on the Penzberg side.

He didn't really have to wrestle, since the guests in the lowest weight class could not muster a fighter in either the freestyle (FS) or the Greco-Roman style (GR).

A total of eight points went to the athletes' club without a fight.

On Saturday, October 22nd, AC Penzberg will be in action with both teams in the municipal gym at the former wave pool.

At 6 p.m., the AC students will fight against TV Feldkirchen.

The AC men's turn in the state league at 7:30 p.m.

TSV Aichach is a guest.

Mustafa Karaismailoglu (61 kilos/GR) and Thomas Kramer (98 kilos/GR) each celebrated early victories due to technical superiority in the first round.

Tobias Bauer (86 kilos/FS) diligently collected rating after rating and thus also scored four points.

In the first lap, veteran Alex Dürr (75 kilos/GR) forced his opponent onto his shoulders.

Benedikt Gattinger (66 kilos/FS) pulled out of the affair well in his fight against Lorenz Hagelauer, who had already been used three times this year in the SC Anger Oberliga team.

The Penzberger had to give up three points.

At the break, the athletes' club was already 16:5 in the lead.

Streicher's success, achieved without a fight, was followed by another victory due to Kramer's technical superiority (130 kilos/GR).

With the score at 28:5, Penzberg was uncatchable five fights before the end.

For Karaismailoglu (61 kilos/FS) no reason to take it easy.

With 16:1 he won his second duel with Richard Wagner early and gave the hosts another four points.

Seidler's narrow defeat against Argstatter followed.

Zar Ali Khan (66 kilos/GR) was not granted any decisive action during his performance, who had to admit defeat in the second round due to the opponent's technical superiority.

The Penzbergers won the last two fights of the evening.

Alexander Horst (86 kilos/GR) and Franz Fröhlich fought an intense duel for six minutes, which the Penzberger won 10:6.

Two points went to AC.

Christian Fahning (75 kilos/FS) played out his routine and shouldered his opponent in the first round.
