Red and white coach Sebastian Wagner hopes for a "surprise coup" against TSV Otterfing and has not yet written off sixth place.
Bad Tölz – The SC Rot-Weiss players have had a long week of training after completing their weekend game in Hausham (0-1) on Friday evening.
But before the match against TSV Otterfing (Sunday, 2 p.m.) the main focus was on gathering strength and recovering from injuries.
Easy running training for Geisler
Max Geisler is still suffering from a muscle strain;
he contented himself with light running training and passing exercises.
At "fifty-fifty", coach Sebastian Wagner assesses the chances of the striker playing.
Things are looking a little better for the two offensive players Fatih Kocyigit (bruised back) and Peter Murcko (bruised ribs).
Achmad Abu Swid, who returned from Hausham with a bad knee, will definitely not be able to play.
"The health of the players is the focus in the last three games before the break," Wagner clarifies.
"We want to tackle the relegation round with the entire squad."
Otterfing wins first leg 4-0
Nevertheless, the coach has not written off an improvement to sixth place in the table, which TuS Holzkirchen II currently holds, and the two bonus points associated with it.
"As long as it's mathematically possible, we'll try everything." Fourth-placed TSV Otterfing clearly won the first leg 4-0 and we can hardly afford to make a mistake.
However, the team of player-coach Benedict Gulielmo only has theoretical chances for the championship round;
Lenggries or Hausham would have to lose all three remaining games.
Accordingly, it should be about the motivation.
Wagner is surprised that Otterfing missed out on the top three and is flirting with a "surprise coup" on his own place.
