The women's judo team continues to make progress, when today (Saturday) Gili Sharr and Maya Goshen went up to fight for the bronze medal at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Sharr, who competes in the weight category up to 63 kg, started directly in the second round, where she defeated Spain's Padilla Guerrero on a third penalty, in 5:40 minutes for the golden score, but in the quarterfinals Vasari was twice pinned by Serbia's Ania Ordovic.
In the consolation house, she was again dragged to a gold score, this time against the Australian Katrina Horker, but here at the end of 6:50 minutes, she saved the third penalty and went up to fight for the bronze medal.
Goshen (up to 70 kg), first achieved a victory over a Swiss opponent in quick penalties, but here too she was stopped in the quarterfinals, when she suffered an Ipon from the Belgian Gabriela Williams, which sent her to the consolation bracket, which she also defeated in penalties over the British Kylie Patterson.

As I recall, on the opening day of the competition, Gefen Primo (up to 52 kg), won the bronze medal.
