SC Huglfing's B-Juniors are in second place in the state league - and meanwhile they have an impressive crowd of fans.

The joy about it is great.

Huglfing – Things are going well for the SC Huglfing B-Juniors in the South Regional Football League.

With five wins from five games, coach Marco Tragl's players are in second place.

Bayernliga relegated SV Frauenbiberg also collected the best number of points, but is a little better in terms of "goal difference" - only a small drop of bitterness for the Huglfingerinnen.

Rather, they are happy that their performances are now also appreciated by a good number of viewers.

About 100 visitors came to the home game two weeks ago.

Coach Tragl then spoke of "super support".

This Sunday, October 23, at 3 p.m., the Huglfinger women are back in action in their local sports park on Tautinger Straße.

Sixth in the table, FC Stern Munich, is a guest.

SC Huglfing is in second place in Landesliga Süd

Last weekend there was a 3-1 win at TSV Schwaben Augsburg II, champions last season.

Since the guests missed many chances in the game, "they made it unnecessarily exciting," said coach Tragl.

The two SC goals in the first half (17th, 22nd) came in almost the same way: Both times Emma Tragl got through on the right flank, both times Felicia Wacker cleverly converted the pass into the middle.

After the break Augsburg scored the 1:2 (48th) following a corner.

It lasted until the final phase before Lina Hasch scored the redeeming 3:1 (71st) after a nice individual performance.

Coach Tragl gave special praise for the defense around Lena Nagl, "which almost didn't allow for any chances".

That was all the more important because the guests started without a trained goalkeeper.

Johanna Hoiß had injured herself the day before with the women.

Caro Hilser agreed to go between the posts and - despite some nervousness - made a remarkable debut.

It is quite possible that Hilser will also be in goal against FC Stern, as Hoiß's use is questionable to date.

A week before the game in Augsburg, the women from Huglfinger won 5-1 at home against FFC Wacker Munich.

Lina Hasch (17th) made up for an early deficit (2nd).

After that, the SC game went better.

Emma Tragl scored to make it 2-1 (39').

In the second half Hasch managed a real hat trick (50th, 61st, 63rd) to the final score.
