Lacazette still essential
The change of coach and the arrival of Laurent Blanc did not impact the good dynamics of the striker.
The former Gunners is the man in form for Lyon, and proved it again in this 2-1 victory at Montpellier.
He was in all the right moves tonight despite some inaccuracies like this missed pass for Dembélé (51st).
Lacazette is undoubtedly the man of the match with this goal scored at the very end of the match which gives victory to his team.
Caqueret relies on Toko-Ekambi in the axis of the penalty area by making a one-two.
Caqueret is in the area and serves with luck Lacazette who controls and shoots Kamara.
Lacazette confirms that he is essential in Lyon.
The two Montpellier goalkeepers
Montpellier started with Omlin at the cages.
And the doorman delivered an incredible performance with magnificent saves.
On a corner, Lacazette takes the ball, strikes a first time but it is countered.
He can try his luck again but Omlin comes out quickly and deflects the shot.
He will unfortunately get injured and be replaced by Kamara (43rd).
The new entrant will be just as decisive.
At the very end of the match, Tagliafico combined with Lacazette and shifted Reine-Adélaïde to his right.
The Lyonnais shoots from the right but Kamara once again saves his own.
Despite the defeat, the MHSC can still thank its two goalkeepers for having long maintained hope.

Montpellier and Savanier absent in the first half
Despite a good second half, the Montpellier residents were carried away in the first period.
They were non-existent and were logically punished by Lyon at the half-hour mark. Montpellier never showed themselves to be dangerous and never knew how to develop their game, in particular with a missing Savanier.
Fortunately, Jonas Omlin was there to save his people on several occasions because otherwise the addition would have been much more severe on returning to the locker room.
