The SG Schliersee/Miesbach 1b has brought in the second win of the season against the SC Forst.
Miesbach – After three defeats, the SG Schliersee/Miesbach 1b was able to celebrate another victory in the Landesliga B on Sunday.
The district cracks prevailed at SC Forst with 3:2.
"Those were three important points for us and a liberation after the last three defeats," said SG coach Mario Weiler after the success in Peißenberg.
The guests got into the game well and took a 2-0 lead by the middle of the first period after goals from Dominik Willibald and Josef Ziegler.
After a goalless second period, things got exciting again in the final third.
The hosts equalized with a double strike, each with a majority.
Then Max Haug plucked up courage, quickly bridged the neutral zone and hit a slap shot to make it 3-2 for Schlierseer and Miesbacher.
In the closing stages, Luca Grasser, who stood between the posts for the ailing Markus Veicht, had to save a few times.
To make matters worse, Korbinian Zankl was injured, meaning that the Renken had to defend their lead with just four defenders.
However, the guests took the lead over time and gained self-confidence.
"The result was far too close, we had great chances but didn't score.
In the last third alone we went one-on-zero or two-on-one on goal several times and didn't get anything in there," reported Weiler.
The chance evaluation of the district cracks is still expandable and the defensive is not as stable as desired.
"We're hoping for a few returnees next weekend so that we can play with four forwards and six defenders again," said Weiler.
