Game day!
FC Bayern is challenged at FC Barcelona today.
As fate would have it, Munich of all people can promote their ex-scorer Robert Lewandowski from the Champions League today.
Lewandowski's Catalans only have a mini chance of reaching the round of 16 and are dependent on the help of the Czechs from Pilsen who have not had any points so far.
If they lose to Inter Milan as expected, FC Barcelona will also be eliminated with a win against FC Bayern.

Oliver Kahn set the tone for Munich: "We have nothing to give away." We want to win the group.
Barcelona coach Xavi, however, has little hope of progressing: "We no longer have our fate in our hands," he said before the home game against Bayern at the Camp Nou.

Update from October 25, 2:45 p.m .:
The currently injured Bayern star Bouna Sarr did not have a good day at Munich Airport.
On Instagram, the Senegalese international was upset about what he saw as far too strict customs controls.
Sarr was "treated like a dealer" when entering Germany after a weekend trip to France at Munich Airport.
The officials had "rushed" a customs dog on him, other passengers were "shocked".
Even if Bouna Sarr is fit, he is almost always on the bench at Bayern.

Robben emotionally says goodbye to ex-colleague Ribéry: "Honour to be part of Robbery"
After the end of the Frenchman's career, his former teammate Arjen Robben made an emotional statement on Instagram.
"It was always a great pleasure with you on and off the pitch," said Robben via Instagram.
In addition, it was and will be the Dutchman "always an honor to be part of Robbery".
Robben also ended his career due to injury in 2021.
"Robbery" still stands for one of the most dangerous wing pincers in the history of FC Bayern.
Between 2009 and 2019 they played together for the record champions and won 20 titles during this period.
The greatest moment was probably the 2013 Champions League final win against Dortmund, when Ribéry prepared the acclaimed winning goal for Robben.
Ribéry has severe knee pain: "The doctors said it was very serious"
Ribéry was officially bid farewell to Salernitana last weekend.
The former Bayern Munich star shed a few tears.
Before the game he spoke to the
Gazzetta dello Sport
about the reason for the end of his career.
Before the first game in Serie A this season, Ribéry developed knee pain and "played despite the pain".
After that, he could not move for three days.

It made him particularly sad that he wasn't allowed to decide for himself when to stop playing football.
Now an operation is probably necessary to relieve the pain permanently.
Ribéry was already plagued by a number of injuries when he was at Bayern.
Ribéry moved from FC Bayern to Italy to Florence in 2019 and two years later to the promoted team from Salerno.
While the Frenchman was still a regular at Fiorentina, his injuries at Salernitana were struggling.
The 39-year-old missed 15 games last season, this year it was only enough for one short appearance in the league and in the cup.
