Against the background of the public uproar, the Prime Minister made it clear that he is against the decision to temporarily disqualify the footballer in light of his part in the minors case, and said on Hachot 13: "As Yael's father, this is intolerable in my eyes."
Voila system!

The correspondence between Dor Micah and Omer Azili (from network 13)
Against the background of the public uproar surrounding the summoning of Omar Atzili to the Israeli national team following his part in the minors case, Prime Minister Yair Lapid also announced today (Wednesday) that for him it is "unbearable".
Atzili, the Maccabi Haifa star, was called up to the national team's squad for the Nations League games this month, in a move that caused a great stir.
Signs were hung outside Bloomfield Stadium, many also booed him during the games and women's organizations stepped up to petition against the decision to temporarily train Atzili, who represents the country despite the footballers and minors affair in which he was involved.
Lapid was asked about the matter in "News 13", and told interviewer Hila Korah: "As Yael's father, this is intolerable in my eyes."
The prime minister is also against him.

As I recall, the Football Association outright rejected the possibility that he would be removed from the squad, when the Supreme Court of the Football Association also discussed the petition of the women's organizations and clarified that "the decision of the heads of the association not to take active action to interfere in the decisions of the professional level and to block the invitation of Omar Azili to the national team (based on professional) is a decision that is deep within the realm of reasonableness of judgment".
This week the Supreme Court of the Football Association announced that from now on Omer Atzili will be required to attend hearings in his case, following the petition of the women's lobby in Israel, which opposes his summoning to the national team due to his part in the minors affair.
The petitioners came out against the summoning of Atzili to the national team on the basis of the code of ethics, for his behavior in the case of having forbidden sex with underage girls.
The Football Association claimed that the petition should be rejected and its main argument is that when Azili committed the acts he was not a national team player and therefore the code of ethics does not apply to him.
Also, based on the circumstances of the case, the association decided not to intervene in the consideration of the professional level.
