Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz qualified for the quarter-finals at the Swiss Tennis Championships, Basel, after defeating Dutchman Botic van Zadschlop.
The world number one managed to settle the outcome of the match in his favour, and beat his Dutch opponent in two sets without a response, 6-4, 6-2.
Alcaraz will meet in the next round his compatriot Pablo Carreno Busta, ranked fifth in the world, who qualified at the expense of Swiss Dominic Stryker.
