Finland's Lauri Markannen was the Utah Jazz's leading scorer with 24 points and a very good shooting percentage (66.7%).

In Denver, Serbian Nikoka Jokic was the main architect of the Nuggets victory, scoring 31 points and taking 13 rebounds.

The two Lakers stars, NBA champions in 2020, LeBron James and Anthony Davis only scored 19 and 22 points.

At the Lakers, while the two teams were tied 54-54 at halftime, the light went out in the third quarter, won by the Nuggets 32-17.

It's only the fourth time in their history that the Lakers have started with a four-game losing streak.

And, after their failed start to the season, the specter of the 2015/2016 season, the worst in their history with 65 defeats for only 17 victories, reappears. Milwaukee is doing much better: carried by a Giannis Antetokounmpo of the big nights, who scored 43 points, the Bucks outscored the Brooklyn Nets 110-99.

The click for the Bucks, led by 12 points at halftime (43-55) occurred in the second part of the match, during which their Greek star went wild, scoring 17 points in each of the last two quarter.

Antetokounmpo “phenomenal”

Antetokounmpo had already scored 44 points against Houston on Saturday: he is averaging 36 points per game at the start of the season.

"

In that second half of the game, he was phenomenal

," said his coach Mike Budenholzer.

"

It's hard to find the words to say how good he was in this second half

."

In the ranks of Brooklyn, whose coach lost his nerves and was excluded, Kevin Durant scored 33 points.

The Milwaukee Bucks remain the League's only undefeated team this season, after losing the Portland Trail Blazers, who fell heavily at home to the Miami Heat, a 119-98 winner. Six players scored more than ten points for the Heat.

Damian Lillard led Portland in scoring with 22 before being stopped in his tracks with a right calf injury.

In New York finally, the Knicks, with a discreet Evan Fournier, author of 14 points to 6 of 11 on shots, beat Charlotte (134-131) after overtime.
