Lucky for Jürgen Klopp: After his red card in the top game against Manchester City, the Liverpool coach managed to avoid a suspension. And the amount of the fine shouldn't pose a problem either.

Team manager Jürgen Klopp got off relatively lightly after his red card in the win in the top game against Manchester City.

The Liverpool FC coach will not be banned from the interior by the English Football Association FA, but will have to pay a fine of 30,000 pounds (about 34,750 euros).

This was announced by the FA on Thursday.

An appeal can still be lodged against the judgment.

In the 86th minute of the game on October 16th, when Liverpool were already leading 1-0 against the champions, Klopp was very upset that the referee didn't whistle.

The German subsequently admitted that his behavior towards the referee was “inappropriate”, the FA said.

Klopp himself confirmed on the day of the game that he had made a mistake.

'Red card, of course, my fault.

I overdid it at the moment," said the 55-year-old at the press conference.

“Sometimes I just lose control.

Then something like that just happens.«

Things are not going according to plan for Jürgen Klopp and his team this season.

In the league, Liverpool is only eighth after eleven matchdays.

In the Champions League, on the other hand, the top English team made it into the round of 16 early.
