1. FC Köln still has a chance of making it into the knockout stages of the Conference League.

In the continued game against 1. FC Slovacko in the Czech Republic, the Bundesliga club drew 1-0 (0-0) and thus has seven points.

The game had already been stopped in the seventh minute on Thursday due to dense fog and continued on Friday when the score was 0-0.

The continuation of the game on Friday offered few highlights.

But Kainz missed a penalty kick, and Slovacko keeper Filip Nguyen parried the attempt.

He was also able to defuse a 1-1 situation against Ondrej Duda.

But the attacker got a second chance: FC was awarded a penalty again, this time he did better and converted the lead (82nd).

What happens to the Hoffenheim game on Sunday?

According to the game plan, the Cologne team would continue on Sunday (7.30 p.m.) in the Bundesliga against Hoffenheim, but there are many arguments in favor of the game being postponed.

According to their own statement, the people of Cologne are in exchange with the DFL.

According to the rules of the DFL rules of the game, a short-term postponement is generally possible.

FC coach Steffen Baumgart had already campaigned for a longer regeneration period for his team on Thursday evening.

"If there's a chance, we'd love to do it.

We'll see what's up," said Baumgart.

Hoffenheim are open to a postponement.

"We are always cooperative and have an absolute understanding of the situation in Cologne," said coach André Breitenreiter.

»Cologne got into an emergency situation through no fault of its own.

We all want the competition to be fair.«
