The Syrian Al-Wahda team defeated the Lebanese Homenetmen team with a score of 113-100 points in the opening matches of the Basketball Super Cup, in the match that brought them together today at Al-Fayhaa Sports Hall in Damascus, for the account of the first group, which also includes Al-Ittihad Al-Ahly Aleppo and Al-Nawair teams.
The first group will complete its matches tomorrow with Al-Ittihad Al-Ahly Aleppo meeting with Al-Nawair, while the second group in the championship, which includes Al-Karama, Al-Jalaa, Al-Jaysh and Lebanese Leeds teams, will open its competitions tomorrow with Al-Karama meeting with Al-Jalaa, followed by Al-Jaish’s meeting with Leaders.
The teams play with each other in the first round of one stage in each group separately. In the quarter-finals, the first group with the fourth of the second group, the second of the second group with the third of the first group, the first of the second group with the fourth of the first group, and the second of the first group with the third of the second group .
