The SpVgg Kammerberg looks to the top third, the Palzinger have more losses to complain about - and the BC Attaching is facing a six-point game.

District

– In the District League North, the first half of the season comes to an end this weekend.

SpVgg Kammerberg can end the first half of the season with a win at VfB Eichstätt II (Saturday, 4:15 p.m.) in the top third of the table.

The other two clubs from the Freising district are further down the list: SVA Palzing, at the bottom, is under pressure at SV Nord Lerchenau (Sunday, 2:30 p.m.) – and BC Attaching is up against SV Untermenzing (Sunday, 3 p.m.) in a promotion duel Big points in the race to stay up.

SpVgg Kammerberg

Four wins from the last five games – things are going well at SpVgg Kammerberg.

Only table leader Pfaffenhofen was better and achieved the maximum yield in the same period.

But the Kammerbergers don't want to compare themselves to the FSV.

Rather, it is about gaining the upper hand in duels with direct competitors.

VfB Eichstätt II is one of these teams. "We and Eichstätt are on the same level," says SpVgg player coach Matthias Koston.

Kammerberg is one place and two points ahead of the opponent.

This one is unpredictable.

"It will be interesting to see how they reinforce with players from the first," says Koston.

The district colleagues from BC Attaching can sing a song about it: They met a tuned-up VfB in the Eichstätter stadium - and had no chance in the 3:6 defeat.

"But no matter how the Eichstätt are set up: We know that it will be a difficult matter," emphasizes Koston.

After all, there is hardly an opponent in the district league north that is less suitable for the Kammerbergers: only the first of five matches went to the game association.

The Koston team took just one point from the other four games.

But in its current form, this series could end.

“We have to work tactically clean again and can hardly make any mistakes.

If you lose few balls, you give the opponent few chances,” explains Koston.

And further: "We've been able to do that lately.

That's why we get points."

SVA Palzing

The SVA Palzing has to deliver - also against the top teams of the district league north.

"We want to get at least ten points in the first half of the season, 15 is even better," said SVA coach Gianluca Dello Buono in early October.

But none have been added since then: The SVA has lost the last five games and is stuck with nine points.

The air is getting thinner.

So thin that top teams should also score points away from home.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

SV Nord Lerchenau, the opponent on Sunday, is one of these.

If Munich hadn't lost two of their last three games, but instead scored as diligently as before, they wouldn't have started the duel with SVA from fourth place, but as the leaders of the table.

"I'm assuming that Lerchenau will be angry and it will be even more intense for us," said Dello Buono.

The Palzinger coach is worried about the situation his team has gotten themselves into as a result of the negative run: "The situation is getting more and more difficult.

And now Fabi and Ivan are also out.” Fabian Radlmaier is the key player on the offensive, center forward Ivan Rakonic cannot be replaced by Palzinger either.

In addition, captain Marcel Radlmaier is still missing.

There is little sign of a turnaround, especially since the Palzinger have a big problem when the forces slack off.

Like the 3:6 against Feldmoching last weekend.

The performance was good for an hour, it was 2:2.

After that, all the dams broke.

But the SVA is capable of suffering, nobody should write off the Palzinger.

BC attaching

BC Attaching also knows how it feels to be at the end of the table.

However, the team coached by Enes Mehmedovic has shown how fast things can go: After three wins from the past five games, the BCA is starting the last matchday of the first half of the season from twelfth place and would – as of now – hold the league.

A success given the absence of important players such as defender Mirnes Gurbeta.

Now another central defender threatens to fail with Daniele Chezzi.

He injured his head in the 0:5 defeat at leaders Pfaffenhofen.

Coach Mehmedovic hopes that Chezzi will give the green light.

And also that his team shook off the swatter.

"We just reacted.

We have to get back into the duels better,” says the BCA coach.

He had noticed that his boys looked tired.

“So we calmed down during training to recharge our batteries.

The game against Untermenzing will show whether the Attachingers have succeeded.

The opponent is tied with Palzing at the end of the table.

A win would be worth a lot for the Attachinger, also in terms of a direct comparison.
