A deserved win for VfB Stuttgart: Michael Wimmer's team beat FC Augsburg 2-1 (1-1) on the 12th matchday of the Bundesliga.

Pfeiffer sends Silas on his journey, who makes a beeline for the goal but misses the moment of the pass.

At VfB Stuttgart, the squad is all but complete as Josha Vagnoman returned to team training on Tuesday (25 October).
However, Enzo Millot is suffering from muscular problems and Pascal Stenzel is struggling with the flu.
It remains to be seen whether the two are ready for the home game against FC Augsburg.
The game should come too early for Vagnoman.
FC Augsburg played big against RB Leipzig
At FC Augsburg the trend is downwards.
Most recently, coach Enrico Maassen's squad have not won three games in a row.
FCA suffered a 2-3 defeat at 1. FC Köln.
Augsburg drew with VfL Wolfsburg and against RB Leipzig on the previous day.
However, FCA played well against RB for long periods and led 3-0 before giving up the game in the last 20 minutes and ultimately only clinching a 3-3 draw.

After VfB had convinced against VfL Bochum (4:1) and Arminia Bielefeld (6:0), it rained down to a 0:5 beating at Borussia Dortmund.
In the Ruhr area, the breast ring wearers lacked any resistance.
That has to change again against the Fuggerstadt team.
Because if Stuttgart wants to stay up in the league, FCA is a competitor that should be beaten.
In addition, VfB interim coach Michael Wimmer absolutely needs results to collect arguments for his possible promotion.
