Against the top team TSV Ampfing it was a bitter defeat for SE Freising.

Only a youngster shines.

Freising

– The SE Freising footballers are heading for an uncomfortable autumn.

On Saturday afternoon, player-coach Flo Bittner's men were defeated in the last preliminary round match against table leader TSV Ampfing with 1:4 (0:3).

Especially in the first round, Ampfing was able to switch and act as it wanted.

For five games, it seemed as if the SE Freising footballers could gain a foothold in the Landesliga Southeast, but now the Lerchenfelder are sliding deeper into the table basement, the relegation ranks are dangerously close again.

Against TSV Ampfing, currently the leader of the table, the fair was basically already read after the first 45 minutes.

The Freisingers fell behind early on.

When they conceded the first goal, the Freisingers stand like a trellis

Less than ten minutes were played when the Eintracht men showed their old faces: Ampfing not only had an easy time moving forward, the Freising backers also lined up nicely, and so Valentino Gavric was able to score an early lead from almost eleven meters relatively unchallenged ( 7.).

The hosts once again had Jonas Trost to thank for the fact that the Freising box didn't ring more often early on.

The youngster's only 18 years of age are not noticeable, the goalkeeper equalized a really good Ampfinger chance several times.

Nevertheless, he was powerless twice, so that it was already 0:3 at the break.

First the Eintracht-Verbund defended it too half-heartedly again, didn't take the play equipment out of the danger zone, and so Gavric made it 2-0 again (42').

But that wasn't the end of the break: Mike Opara made a nice move in added time (45'+3').

The game was finally decided ten minutes after the break, Opara made it 4-0 with a penalty area solo and the second TSV brace.

SEF coach Bittner found at least the second half "reasonably passable"

After that, Ampfing probably felt sorry for the Freisingers, because the class leader clearly took his foot off the gas.

But Freising was hardly able to capitalize on the ball possession, only a little cosmetic result was possible through assistant coach Michael Schmid.

He circled a corner into the penalty area, which sailed past friend and foe and landed directly in the net (59').

Nice to look at, but didn't earn the SEF any points.

Coach Bittner was accordingly served, there was nothing to sugarcoat the ninth defeat in the 17th game.

"At least the second half was passable," he said.

Only thanks to an interim five-win series did Freisinger not finish the preliminary round on a relegation rank.
