FC Bayern Munich could no longer take the group victory before the sixth matchday, but the game against Inter Milan was more than just a show.
After initial difficulties, Bayern improved, won 2-0 (1-0) and ended the group stage with 18 points and 18 of their own goals, conceding only two goals.
Inter Milan finished Group C in second place, that was also clear in advance.
For FC Barcelona, who won 4: 2 (2: 0) at Viktoria Pilsen in the parallel game, the Europa League continues.
Inter got into the game better.
After a corner, the ball came to Nicolò Barella, who took aim from around 20 meters out, but was denied by Sven Ulreich, who made a strong save (7').

Bayern plays confidently
The second in the Bundesliga then took control of the game.

After a pass from Alphonso Davies, Choupo-Moting set the ball straight and shot it from around 18 meters into the left corner (72').
After that, Bayern easily bagged their seventh competitive win in a row, Inter didn't get much more before Ulreich thwarted a big chance from Edin Džeko in added time (90' + 2').
