The former Parisian striker attacked the management of the Frenchman's career in an interview with Canal +.

In an interview broadcast this Wednesday on Canal +, Zlatan Ibrahimovic did not make a fuss when discussing the situation of Kylian Mbappé.

Asked by Olivier Dacourt whether the French striker had made the right choice by staying in Paris last summer, Zlatan replied: “If he made the right choice for him?

No.

For Paris ?

Yes.

He made the right choice for PSG, not for him.

Why ?

“Because he put himself in a situation where he is more important than the club.

And the club gave him the keys for that.

But you are never bigger than a club”.

Ibra continues his explanation.

He targets the entourage of the Parisian.

“When a child becomes strong, he can easily earn money.

So his parents become lawyers, agents, coaches.

From one thing they become another.

And that's the problem.

This is where you lose your self-discipline and who you are.

Today with this new generation, parents, dad, mom, whoever you want, they think they have become stars.

They speak in the newspapers.

But who do you think you are?

Shut up and stay where you are.

It's up to your son to work and be disciplined.

He continues: “Mbappé, as a person I don’t know him very well.

As a player, he is fantastic.

But when you lose discipline you lose your identity.

(…) There is a reason why Zidane is Zidane.

Mbappé wants to imitate him?

That he begins to want to progress.

Not to be satisfied”.
