Bayern star Benjamin Pavard was caught drunk by the police when driving.

The Frenchman lost his driver's license eight weeks ago after a Bayern Munich game.

first reported on the incident.

Pavard allegedly had more than 0.8 per mille intus.

The 26-year-old apparently had to report to sports director Hasan Salihamidzic and pay a high five-digit fine.

The law stipulates a driving ban of at least one month, a fine of 500 euros and at least two points in Flensburg for such an offence.

Benjamin Pavard caught drunk at the wheel: Nagelsmann and Salihamidzic react

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann confirmed the incident after the Champions League game against Inter Milan (click here for individual criticism) and commented: "I think the club reacted correctly.

Benji reacted correctly, saw it as a mistake - no question what it is."

Salihamidzic also responded to the report on Tuesday evening.

"It's been eight weeks now.

We closed that the same day or two days later," he tried to downplay the incident.

"That's why it's not worth mentioning."

FC Bayern News: Bank frustration at Gravenberch?

Kimmich gives tips

Update from November 1, 2:08 p.m .:

Ryan Gravenberch is one of the protagonists at FC Bayern who have had the least time this season so far.

The Dutchman (20) has expressed his displeasure at the lack of match practice several times, and now teammate and midfield "rival" Joshua Kimmich has commented on this.

"I thought Ryan's come-in was outstanding against Barça.

He stole a lot of balls from us," enthused the international before the game against Inter Milan (tonight from 9 p.m.).

Bayern fears for injured Thomas Müller - now even the World Cup seems to be in danger

Gravenberch would have "showed a lot of good things", but FC Bayern simply had "a very good squad".

Kimmich himself experienced this situation earlier in Munich.

His tip to the young newcomer: "He just has to be patient and keep working hard." Meanwhile, the wrong sign could appear in the last CL group game on Tuesday: While Gravenberch is probably allowed to play from the start, a prominent newcomer from Munich is moving probably in the bank.

Julian Nagelsmann explained in the run-up to the game that, given the group win against Inter, he would rotate a lot and leave players outside who need a break.

Apparently, this will also apply to Sadio Mané, who, apart from the Hoffenheim game, always started after the international break.

FCB News: Ulreich also between the posts next season?

Keeper takes position

Update from November 1, 11:58 a.m .:

Bayern’s substitute keeper Sven Ulreich is currently the focus every few days.

No wonder - it's "English weeks" in professional football and number one goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is injured.

Has the 34-year-old tasted blood to be a regular goalkeeper again?

Obviously not.

His contract in Munich runs until the end of the season.

"I'll be 35 next year. Not too much will come," said Ulreich before the CL duel against Inter Milan.

However, he is not yet thinking of a quick end to his career: “I still plan to play for two years.

As long as you are healthy and having fun, you should play and not say no.”

The signs are for the native Schorndorfer to extend the contract.

However, this would not be negotiated yet, explained Ulreich on the PK before the Champions League game against Inter (November 1).

FC Bayern soon again with Neuer?

Coach takes position – and “calms nation”

Update from October 31, 1:52 p.m .:

Julian Nagelsmann gave an update on the problem children Neuer and Müller at the press conference before the game against Inter Milan.

"With Thomas we will reduce the load this week, run easy and let the structure relax.

But I'm assuming that it won't be enough for the weekend, but rather for the coming week," explained the coach.

"It's similar with Manu.

I hope he might be available again this weekend.

It's looking good, he took everything well today, including the impact on his shoulder.

He showed no reaction.

We still have to wait and see how it is tonight," Nagelsmann continued, only to then state: "The nation can go to bed quite calmly tonight."

He also announced the absence of central defender Matthijs de Ligt.

"He has knee problems, slight medial ligament strain, capsule injured.

It will probably be fine again at the weekend.”

FC Bayern News: Müller wonders about his body

First report from October 31:

Munich – The fans don’t actually know an injured Thomas Müller – and neither does he.

"I'm used to my body working properly," the 33-year-old marvels at the increasing number of downtimes in the first half of the season.

First corona, then gastrointestinal, now an "irritation" in the pelvic area.

"It doesn't work with painkillers either.

It blocks and stings a bit,” Julian Nagelsmann described the complaints and announced that he wanted to “bring it down”.

It's "nothing structural".

It all sounds like a minor ailment - is it really?

Müller injury more serious?

Bayern colleagues apparently worried

According to information from the

mirror

, Müller's teammates are worried that something more lengthy could be behind it.

The Bayern leader's injury is "an issue" in the dressing room.

Also with Hansi Flick, because the World Cup break is only two weeks away.

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic provided the following, rather vague diagnosis: "He has a small muscular problem." If Müller has any new findings, Nagelsmann will announce them at the press conference before the game against Inter Milan.

The same applies to Manuel Neuer, who has been struggling with his shoulder injury for some time now.

But there are signs of improvement for him, he trained specifically for the goalkeeper for the first time on Monday.

FC Bayern News: Uncertainty with Neuer and Müller, Sané before comeback

The World Cup in Qatar will have top priority for the two leading players, which is why it is important to prevent Bayern from being reinstated too early.

At the same time, the two should not and do not want to go to the tournament without any match practice.

The brilliant representatives Jamal Musiala and Sven Ulreich ensure that Müller and Neuer are not missed too much at the moment.

There is good news for Leroy Sané: The left foot could be back in the Bayern squad for the first time against Inter Milan on Tuesday.

Sané had torn a muscle fiber.
