Catherine Chabaud on the Route du rhum for ecology: "I never thought I would go back to offshore racing"

After more than twenty years of break, Catherine Chabaud, 59, is heading back to sea on the occasion of the Route du rhum, which will start on Sunday November 6, in Saint-Malo.

The Member of the European Parliament, the first woman to complete a non-stop single-handed round-the-world race in 1997, is more than ever determined to defend the issue of the preservation of the oceans.
