With the participation of 80 players representing a number of governorates, the first Shams Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics for age groups concluded on the grounds of the gymnastics hall in Al-Fayhaa Sports City in Damascus.

On the impact of the motivational sports music, competitions were held between the junior, junior, female and female categories, during which the players presented skill movements in gymnastics, and demonstrated a remarkable muscular and nervous coordination that won the admiration of the gymnastics fans and fans.

The results of the team championship for the buds category resulted in the Damascus team winning first place, followed by Tartous and Lattakia, while the individual results resulted in Tia Hassan, Joel Ibrahim and Selena Ali taking first place, and Zainab Isfahani and Alita Shabrouni in second place, while the third was for Areej Ali and Alma Ibrahim Lin Khweis and Maryam Muhammad.

In the junior category, the Tartous team came first in the team championship, followed by As-Suwayda and Lattakia, while the individual results resulted in Shams Ali and Hanin Hassan winning first place, then Joel Wassouf and Judy Al-Zaqout, and Jessica Jasous, Zainab Ahmed and Taj Mahmoud in third place.

In the junior category, the Tartous team came first in the Team Championship, then Lattakia and As-Suwayda, and won the individual competitions, Hala Ghanoum, in first place, and Aya Al-Maghout and Tala Sobh came in second place, and Basma Al-Khair and Rawan Hamad came in third, while Basma Al-Khair won the tools competition for this category in first place, and Tala Sobh came in second place, and Alma Hassan and Ghazal Ammar came in third place, using the sceptre, and in the framework tool, Aya Youssef, Aya Al-Maghout and Hala Jaafar won the first three places, respectively, and in the tape tool, Hala Ghannoum came first, Zainab Hassoun and Aya Al-Maghout second, and Rawan Hamad third, and with the tool The first place went to Hala Ghannoum, followed by Basma Al-Khair, then Marah Deeb.

As for the women's category, her individual competitions ended with Rose Hassan winning first place, followed by Lana Suleiman, then Shahd Mansour and Sarah Al Majzoub.

Member of the Executive Office of the General Sports Federation Abdel Nasser Karko, in a statement to SANA, pointed out the importance of partnership with the private sector in sports. The game is to build the national teams in the future, and it was a good occasion for the players to increase the chances of contact that would develop the skill level.

The head of the Gymnastics Federation, Mohamed Haboubati, said: "The tournament is an important opportunity to stand up to the technical and real level of the game after a four-year hiatus. It has enjoyed wide participation, witnessed strong competitions, and produced a number of talents and raw materials that constitute the real core of the game in the future."

A number of female players expressed their happiness with their participation in the championship and expressed their readiness to increase their training in the coming days, in order to participate in the championships and represent Syria in international forums in a better way and to win the sparkling medals.
